H2 Blue is used to test presence of molecular hydrogen in water.

It is possible to determine the concentrations of parts per million (ppm) of H2 in 6ml volumes of water with H2 Blue. However, doing so must be done very carefully, and in many cases, results in a waste of the product. We recommend only using H2 Blue for testing the presence of molecular hydrogen in general.

It is not a laboratory-grade solution and is not 100% reliable as there are meters and electronic devices that cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to test the presence of molecular hydrogen and its concentrations properly. H2 Blue is a more cost-effective way of testing molecular hydrogen but should not be relied on to prove concentrations, present in water.
